Seated Chair Massage Proposal

If you would like to be a company's exclusive massage therapist, go to them with a seated chair massage proposal.

The first thing you will do after finding a company that you think will be good to do business with is doing your homework. What do I mean by that?

Look the company up on the internet. Go to their website. Read about them. What type of work do the majority of their employees do everyday? Computer work? Machine operations? Food services? Bending and lifting? Are they sitting or standing?

This information gives you clues as to what portions of their bodies are hurting and what needs the most attention.

What are their hours? Is there more than one shift? This information will tell you the times you may need to be there if you want to provide all the workers with chair massage. You may need to go several times a week at different times of the day and night so all of the employees have a chance at getting massage.

Your seated chair massage proposal should map out the days and times that you feel it will be necessary for you to be there to cover all employees.

It should also state how much you charge. Let the company know that if they want, each employee can pay the full amount of the massage, or the company can generously provide this as a wellness benefit and incentive for happier, healthier workers. There is a third money solution. The company can pay a part and the employee can pay the rest.

Be prepared to give all of the health benefits that massage therapy gives and have this in writing.

Call Human Resources for an appointment and on the big day, take your written seated chair massage proposal and your massage chair with you. Give an oral presentation and then offer to give the representative you are speaking with a free sample chair massage. Give your best ever massage. It could be worth many dollars per month if you get the contract!

You will need to show proof that you have massage therapy liability insurance so the company is not held liable if you make a mistake while massaging an employee. Do not even attempt to offer a proposal if you do not have this!
