Portable Massage Therapy Chair

Outcalls to homes with a portable massage therapy chair are made primarily for client convenience.

Some clients are so busy that the only time they have for a massage is in the evening at home after work.

Some may not have childcare so they have to get a massage at home. Of course, that may mean that you have to work with little ones in the same room where you are giving the massage. It can also mean crying babies and fighting kids while you are trying to give a relaxing massage.

Outcalls can be calm and quiet as well. Always ask the client if you can play a calming CD and if you can light an aromatherapy candle. Let the client choose the music and candle scent from a variety of CD's and candles that you carry for outcalls.

Whatever the atmosphere in the client's home, try your best to be cheerful as you provide massage therapy for your busy clients. It is your job to make the client feel relaxed and renewed, despite what may be going on in the home during the massage.

Carrying a folding massage chair that is lightweight should be made out of metal and not wood. Wooden chairs are heavier and more difficult to move. A sturdy chair with rollers built in to its case works best.
