I, too, enjoy reading these magazines. They are filled with good articles written by practicing massage therapists and other bodyworkers. They also have sections on what is new in the field of bodywork so it does keep us up to date.
Yes, most therapists are female. In my class, we had 2 male students and one dropped out halfway through. But my instructor was male and he has a very successful practice in his home office. He has wonderful strong hands. Every once in a while I would get to be the student he would demonstrate technique on and his hands were fabulous.
