Flexible Schedule Chair Massage

by Victoria Sileo B.S./ SC LMT/ABMP/Reiki Master
(Myrtle Beach, SC)

Hi, I am a LMT who provides chair massages at an airport for departing flights....I also provide chair massages at a convention center at a beach location for the vendors at trade shows, along with a few hotels for employees and hotel clients.

I'm on call for table spa massages at a local spa that allows me to practice Reiki Energy as well.

I ocasionally volunteer chair massages to a NY child care program along with a Massage School here in SC.

Because I live in a tourist town on the beach there is a high and low season, so I work different days and hours, and months..this allows me to have time to go up to NY to spend time with my twin toddler grandchildren.

My chair fees vary from one dollar per minute to $50-75 per hour depending on the location, client, and amount of contracted time. I currently provide more chair massages due to my few shifts at the airport. I enjoy providing a variety of techniques while giving a table massage as well.

I worked 9 months in a high end spa providing up to 7 one hour massages per day...that was a whole differant world.I chose to leave as I no longer wanted to be locked into one room, one location 5-6 days a week.

I also worked for a medical practice in a chiropractor's office providing chair massages and back and shoulders on a table. Once again 5 days per week 20-35 clients per day at 10-15 minutes along with providing patient education...I wanted more diversity and freedom to travel...

After working over 20 years in the Medical and Mental Health arenas as a clinician and 2 years for FEMA after the 9/11 attacks; achieving my MT degree has been a blessing and a wonderful career change that has allowed me personal independence, diversity of clients & locations along with the opportunity to provide a service that improves the quality of life for so many.
