Business Cards For Massage Therapy

Professional-looking business cards for massage therapy can be made by you or purchased inexpensively either online or at a local office supply store.

You want your business cards to look 100% professional, not cheap or homemade, so do not attempt to make them yourself unless you have a fancy laser printer and a good computer software program for making them.

If you do have the software and a great printer, business cards for printers are available at office stores like Office Max and Office Depot and even at Wal-Mart. Remember to buy the best grade of paper and ink that you can afford. Your business card represents you and is something that many people will hold onto for a while. They may stick it on the fridge, in their wallets, or use it as a bookmark while they are reading.

If you want to have your business cards for massage therapy printed professionally, office stores like Office Max and Office Depot will give you a book to look through to choose styles and colors.

Generally, the more cards you order, the more you will save. Start with at least 1000 cards and give them out everywhere.

Include your company name, your name, degree, and phone number. If you have an office, list the address. If you have an outcall practice, put that on the card. If you have a website or a business e-mail, list them as well.

If there is any room left on the card, in smaller type, list the specific types of massage you do such as Swedish, deep tissue, chair massage, hot stone massage, paraffin wax treatments, hydrotherapy......

Choose a lighter colored paper with darker print as this is easiest on the eyes. White or cream are best. Light pink, light blue, and light gray are also good but make sure the paper is the palest of colors so that the print can be easily read. Don't choose a fancy font as it is difficult to read for most people. Metallic ink costs more but it really dresses up business cards if you can afford it. If not, that is fine, as long as the card looks professional.
